Krystal Marie Ball was born November 24 in 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a candidate for the US Senate, as well as a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in May 2021 that they would leave the show to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. As of 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her increased interest in politics to being an expectant mother in 2008's primaries. Also, she watched the US elections while living in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the people of Jordan and gained a greater appreciation for the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. In May of 2017, she created the People's House Project, a political action group working on behalf of Democratic causes.
